Welcome to Tweed Bridge Club.

CHRISTMAS PARTY Saturday 14 December

This year we will be having our Christmas Party on Saturday 14 December with the usual format of bridge and a hot Spit Roast lunch with dessert, drinks etc. The committee has decided that the club will pay for the day so members get to enjoy the day FREE OF ANY COST. Numbers are limited so if you intend coming along you must notify the club of both you and your partner intention to attend by putting your names on the sheet at the club or reserving your places by sending an email.

DAYLIGHT SAVINGS CHANGES

From Sunday 6 October NSW Daylight Savings starts again and runs until the 6th April 2025. During this period our Monday session will start at 10:30am and finish at 2:50pm to help accomodate our Queensland members.

TWEED BRIDGE CLUB DISCRIMINATION & HARASSMENT POLICY

Members are advised that our club has adopted a Discrimination & Harassment Policy and invite all members to read and become familiar with this policy.

The policy is displayed at the club and available for your reference at any time on this website under the Documents Tab at the top of this page.

THURSDAY MORNING IMPROVERS BRIDGE - Starting time 9:30am until 12:30pm

For players who have come through lessons and supervised bridge and any players wanting to improve their bridge.

Sessions aim for a relaxed, social setting with the chance to gently further develop players skills and confidence with a view to playing in Club events.

The format involves a short discussion on a theme for the day, playing as many hands as possible with advice and guidance as needed and a possible follow-up discussion of issues arising from boards played.

Open to all members and non-members. No partner, No worries. Cost members 1 pink ticket, visitors $10 includes morning tea. If you are or know someone who may be interested, please contact Pat Egan 0432 946 517.

SYSTEM CARDS

Please ensure that you and your partner/s each have a system card available. Regulations require that each player at the table has an approved system card that opponents can refer to. This is in accordance with the general principle that your opponents are entitled to know everything about your system and agreements that your partner does. Your opponents can refer to your system card and/or they can ask your partner about the agreed meaning of your bid or play.

EFTPOS NO CASH

Payment of all table fees is by Pre-paid Pink tickets or Win tickets. Eftpos facilities are available.
